SE Health is looking for caring individuals to participate in its Personal Support Worker Training Program. This 6-month program includes five weeks of PAID training at $19.05/hour, followed by practical experience in the community. Candidates should be compassionate and able to manage various challenges while providing quality support. Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in five weeks of paid PSW training
- Provide personal care and general support to patients
- Learn through virtual classes and in-person labs
- Secure part-time community work during training
- Demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills
- Valid G or G2 driver’s license with a reliable vehicle
- Must have First Aid and CPR certifications shortly after hire
- Provide proof of immunizations and recent TB test
- Clear vulnerable sector and police checks required
- Willingness to travel for patient needs and meetings
