Elk Valley Resources is seeking an Environmental Performance Co-op to start in January 2027. Gain practical experience in managing environmental data and sustainability practices. In this vital role at Elk Valley Resources, participants will engage in various environmental performance initiatives while studying towards their degree. You will work directly on compliance reporting, data management, and site assessments, gaining insights into responsible mining operations. Discover the beauty of the Elk Valley while advancing your career goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Update environmental data and reporting systems
- Assist in developing assurance programs and practices
- Perform gap assessments and site inspections
- Summarize inspection outcomes and compliance data
- Evaluate new technologies for operational improvement
- Enrolled in an Environmental Science undergraduate program
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License preferred
- Strong communication skills for collaboration
- Ability to work outdoors and manage several projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Power BI is an asset
