Join the City of Edmonton as a Project Manager for Renewal Planning in Waste Services. Drive projects that promote sustainable infrastructure and efficient waste processing. As a Project Manager with the City Operations team, you will oversee the renewal planning phase of waste services projects. This role focuses on evaluating asset conditions and operational data to prioritize needs while fostering collaboration among multiple stakeholders. Your contributions will help shape Edmonton's approach to sustainable infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee capital project renewals in waste services
- Conduct performance analyses to inform backlog prioritization
- Engage with internal teams and external consultants for project alignments
- Create project documentation such as charters and schedules
- Update asset data to inform infrastructure reporting and planning
- Four-year degree in a relevant field with 6 years experience
- OR two-year diploma with 8 years project management experience
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging diverse audiences
- Strong technical writing ability for clear documentation
- Must hold a valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license
