Join Startec Compression & Process as a Spooling Supervisor in Calgary and lead your team in efficient pipe fabrication. Ensure safety and quality standards are met while managing material flow. As a Spooling Supervisor, you will guide daily operations and assign tasks within the shop. Your role involves reviewing essential technical documents like isometrics and fabrication drawings while coordinating closely with various departments, including Production and QC. Successful candidates will leverage their supervisory experience and technical skills to maintain safety and efficiency during the fabrication process. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily spooling operations and assign tasks efficiently.
- Review isometrics, P&IDs, and fabrication drawings.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality Control departments.
- Prepare materials, drawings, and equipment for work start.
- Communicate any schedule or material issues promptly.
- Journeyperson certificate in Pipefitting or related trade.
- 5+ years of spooling or pipe fabrication experience.
- Experience supervising spooling or fabrication teams.
- Proficient in reading isometrics and technical documents.
- Strong knowledge of shop safety and production flow.
