Become a vital part of Portage College as a full-time Instructor in Community Social Work at the Cold Lake Campus. Portage College seeks a highly motivated instructor for its Community Social Work program, which includes a blend of theory and hands-on experience through a 320-hour supervised practicum. Responsibilities encompass classroom instruction, curriculum design, and evaluating student progress, ensuring that graduates are equipped for the human services field. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver classroom and distance education instruction
- Prepare and distribute course materials and subjects
- Assist in curriculum development and revision
- Develop exams and evaluation materials for students
- Organize and supervise student practicums
- Master’s degree in Social Work with several years of experience
- Experience with Indigenous and rural communities is an asset
- Current registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers
- Knowledge of Indigenous cultures and communities
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
