Drive innovation in manufacturing at Schaeffler Aerospace Canada Inc. as a full-time Production Technologist, focusing on production process optimization and technology integration. You will take charge of developing and implementing advanced manufacturing technologies, validating processes, and optimizing quality and cost efficiency. Your strong manufacturing engineering background will help you support product launches, enhance production capabilities, and drive continuous improvements within cross-functional teams. This role is key to maintaining Schaeffler's high standards and advancing aerospace production technology. Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize existing production technologies and processes
- Validate new machines, tools, and manufacturing methods
- Collaborate with teams for successful product launches
- Identify process improvements to enhance performance
- Prepare documentation for equipment and technology needs
- Strong background in manufacturing engineering
- Advanced knowledge of grinding and related technologies
- Experience with process validation and project management
- Skills in continuous improvement methodologies
- Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP
