About the Firm Our client is a Canadian law firm recognized for its expertise in intellectual property and its international growth. As part of its expansion, the firm is seeking an experienced ICT Patent Attorney to strengthen its team and support clients in protecting and leveraging their innovations. Key Responsibilities Manage all phases of patent preparation and prosecution before the USPTO and other international offices. Advise clients (startups, SMEs, large corporations) on strategic protection of their inventions and patent portfolio management. Draft and analyze patent applications in the targeted technical fields. Participate in international projects, working closely with teams based in Canada (Montreal, Quebec) and abroad. Provide strategic intellectual property counseling, including ITC-related matters and litigation support. Candidate Profile Registered US Patent Agent / Attorney, with at least 5 years of experience in intellectual property. Strong legal background, combined with technical training. Proven expertise in the following fields: Computer-implemented inventions Artificial Intelligence (AI) Software Telecommunications Excellent drafting and analytical skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts. Fluent in English (spoken and written). French proficiency is an asset. Working Conditions Full remote position, offering flexibility and autonomy. Occasional travel required to meet clients or visit offices in Montreal or Quebec. Collaborative and international work environment, with strong professional development opportunities.
