At Jerry.ai, conduct legal research and contract analysis while working remotely or from offices in Palo Alto, New York City, Chicago, or Toronto.
This Legal Researcher role suits high-performing law graduates seeking an in-house career. You will research regulatory requirements, review contracts, and translate complex legal analysis into practical recommendations. You will partner with Legal Counsel, Product, Engineering, Operations, and business leaders. The work covers licensing, consumer protection, insurance, finance, data privacy, and product decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate partner and vendor agreements
- Research federal and state product licensing requirements
- Review product features and flows for legal requirements
- Own consumer escalations and regulatory inquiries
- Improve legal and compliance policies and procedures
Requirements:
- JD or LLM with high academic performance
- Contract drafting or review experience
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Ability to provide clear, practical recommendations
- Strong organization and project management skills
