Lead retail operations with planning and coaching skills as an Assistant Front Store Manager in a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store. Keep customers central while improving product flow.
Assist the Front Store Manager with human, physical, and financial resources. Support store objectives through backroom-to-sales-floor product flow, store standards, staffing, and labour productivity. This role requires retail management experience and strong business judgment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain store standards to optimize customer experience and profitability
- Coordinate labour scheduling with the Front Store Manager
- Ensure adequate staffing levels across store operations
- Support hiring for departments excluding Pharmacy
- Lead and motivate staff through Blue Culture and Core Values
Requirements:
- Previous retail management experience
- Planning, organization, and efficient time management skills
- Strong judgment and decision-making for expense control
- Effective leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Business and financial acumen with relationship-building ability
