Bounteous is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to work remotely in Canada. This contract role focuses on creating scalable applications using React for frontend and Node.js for backend. You will demonstrate strong SQL skills while ensuring optimal performance throughout the software development lifecycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Take technical ownership of applications and monitor performance
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions
- Translate business needs into technical designs
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Troubleshoot complex issues across all layers of the application
- 6+ years of software development experience
- Proficient in React, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and application architecture
- Familiar with CI/CD practices and Agile methodologies
- Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or GCP
