Join Leavitt Machinery as a Shop Technician specializing in heavy equipment in Edmonton, Alberta. Your mechanical skills will ensure timely repairs and maintenance for our valued customers. In this onsite role, Leavitt Machinery seeks a Shop Technician with a focus on heavy equipment or automotive repair. You will leverage your extensive experience to diagnose and repair various machinery while providing optimal service options. Communication with internal teams and tracking parts for ongoing service jobs will be essential. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical maintenance on material handling equipment
- Diagnose and complete timely equipment repairs
- Track parts necessary for service jobs
- Fill out work order forms accurately
- Identify and communicate repair opportunities proactively
- 5+ years of heavy equipment or automotive repair experience
- Provincial Heavy Duty or Automotive Journeyperson’s ticket
- Strong communication skills for customer interaction
- Problem-solving skills and technical aptitude
- Valid driver’s license and high school diploma
