Join Akausivik Inuit Family Health Team as a Family Physician in Ottawa, Ontario, providing culturally safe medical care. Deliver comprehensive healthcare to Inuit individuals and families with dedication and compassion. Akausivik Inuit Family Health Team is looking for a conscientious Family Physician, available for full-time or part-time roles. In this position, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and monitoring patients while coordinating care for individuals of all ages. Strong communication with clinic staff and other health professionals is essential for effective care delivery. Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions
- Monitor and manage patients' medical care and treatments
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams
- Collect and organize patient data for informed decision-making
- Order and evaluate necessary diagnostic tests
- Medical degree and CPSO licensure in good standing
- Experience in community/walk-in medical settings
- Familiarity with special programs or high-risk populations
- Inuktitut language skills a plus
- Criminal record check required
