Clintar is hiring Salt Truck Drivers for the Winter Season. All roles are on-call, often overnight, and contingent on winter conditions. We service commercial, industrial, and institutional properties. There will be an opportunity at the end of the Winter Season for suitable candidates to be hired permanently to join our team. Compensation and Bonus: ~$26 to $30 an hour (hourly rate is based off experience) Must be on call and available 24 hours a day 7 days a week, including Christmas & Holidays (Extra $$ Bonus for working over holidays) Safe operation of salt truck on parking lots and paved areas Maintaining clean sites, ensuring no property damage during snow removal Previous experience with salt truck preferred Follow site maps, route books, and site-specific instructions using the LMN system Communicate with supervisors and dispatch regarding site conditions, work progress, delays, equipment issues, and incidents Must have a reliable smartphone with an active data plan to access LMN and accurately submit daily timesheets through the mobile application Must demonstrate good judgment, attention to detail, and a commitment to safe equipment operation and excellent customer service Must follow all company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements Work in challenging weather conditions, including cold temperatures, snowstorms, and potentially at night, to ensure timely snow removal. Must possess a valid Ontario Class G driver's licence with a good driving record when operating vehicles Must follow all company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements We do not use Artificial Intelligence to screen, assess and/or select applicants.
