The St. Clair Catholic District School Board is seeking applicants for the Daily Occasional Teacher roster. This position offers flexible teaching opportunities across various schools.
As a Daily Occasional Teacher, you will provide necessary educational support when needed. The role requires official qualifications, including the Ontario College of Teachers Certificate, along with a Police Record Check. Interested candidates should submit teaching evaluations or a Catholic Pastoral Reference to strengthen their application.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily lessons for multiple grades
- Maintain student engagement and class order
- Interact with other staff for effective teaching
- Enforce school rules and academic standards
- Assess and report on student learning outcomes
Requirements:
- Ontario College of Teachers Certification
- Previous teaching experience with verified reports
- Catholic Pastoral Reference or related declaration
- Up-to-date Police Record Check for Vulnerable Sector
- Faith Journey Application completion
