Lead community intervention programs as a Program Coordinator with Connective in Surrey, BC. This temporary full-time role requires strong organizational and supervision skills for effective program delivery. Connective is seeking a Program Coordinator to oversee daily operations of programs aimed at supporting adults and their families. You will supervise staff and volunteers while liaising with other agencies to ensure client-centered services. Your expertise in program development and community services will be essential for success. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop program activities in consultation with the supervisor
- Supervise program staff and conduct performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with program standards and licensing requirements
- Monitor budgets and authorize program spending
- Facilitate community partnerships and service provisions
- Degree in Behavioural Sciences with Social Work emphasis
- 3+ years in community or correctional services
- Experience in recruiting and training volunteers
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills
- Valid Class 5 BC driver’s license required
