Join LifeLabs as a Mobile Laboratory Assistant in Prince George, BC, and deliver critical health services to patients in their environments. This part-time role focuses on specimen collection and patient engagement. As a Mobile Laboratory Assistant, you will facilitate on-site patient care through specimen collection in various settings. Your responsibilities will include performing phlebotomies, coordinating appointments, and communicating with healthcare teams. Available hours range from 20 to 37.5 weekly, providing flexibility and rewarding interactions. Key Responsibilities:
- Organize specimen collection from private homes and sites
- Conduct phlebotomy and ECG tests
- Deliver and process specimens for laboratory testing
- Arrange patient visits and explain collection procedures
- Work with medical professionals to address patient needs
- Graduate from an accredited Laboratory Assistant program
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
- Successful criminal reference check required
- Strong communication and relational skills
- Commitment to patient confidentiality standards
