Join Altasciences as a Facilities Maintenance Technician Level II focused on maintaining critical systems and performing renovations across all sites in Montreal. Engage in preventative maintenance and project management while being part of a collaborative team.
In this role, you will be responsible for general maintenance and upkeep at Altasciences locations. Key activities include managing HVAC systems, executing special projects, and providing 24/7 emergency support. Your expertise in basic plumbing, carpentry, and painting will ensure facilities remain in top condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate preventative maintenance on HVAC and critical systems
- Execute special projects as assigned by Facilities Manager
- Manage emergency help line on-call rotations
- Perform basic plumbing, painting, and drywall work
- Assist with organizing special events and transporting samples
Requirements:
- High school diploma required
- Minimum 2-4 years related experience
- Bilingual in French and English
- Valid driver's license for site travel
- Must lift weights up to 100 pounds
