This position is multifaceted, focusing on intervention and community engagement. As part of the Integrated Child and Youth team, you will support a variety of educational environments, providing clinical counselling and leading mental health initiatives. Your role will require in-depth knowledge of psychosocial development and an ability to connect with diverse populations, including Indigenous youth, to promote healing and recovery. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive counselling and mental health services
- Lead crisis intervention strategies and programs
- Cultivate partnerships with education and community agencies
- Mentor other clinicians and manage team dynamics
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards
- Master's degree required in counselling or related fields
- Registered professional with BCACC or BCCSW
- At least 3-5 years of direct counselling experience
- Familiarity with trauma-informed and culturally competent practices
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
