The Lifeguard 2 is responsible for delivering service that exceeds guest expectations while fostering positive, productive relationships within the organization and with guests. This role ensures the safety of all guests in and out of the water by enforcing established rules and procedures, while maintaining a professional and welcoming public image. Keep all areas in like-new condition and website ready. Provides exceptional customer service by assisting guests promptly and respectfully. Protecting company assets by adhering to policies and procedures. Maintain a current National Lifeguard certification (valid for 2 years), ELLIS & Associates certification (valid for 1 year), and HCP-CPR/Oxygen/AED Training. Must be at least 15 years old. Able to maintain fitness requirements for certifications and licenses and hold awards. Capable of bending, twisting, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, reaching, crouching/squatting and jumping, for the duration of your shift. Physical strength to lift adult body weight in emergency, if needed. All applicable provincial and federal laws will be followed to ensure consideration without regard to race, colour, religion, sex, age, disability or other classification protected by law.
