Responsibilities:
Lead exterior lighting component development and design release. Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams. Manage DFMEA, DVP&R, validation, and engineering changes. Ensure compliance with automotive lighting standards, quality, cost, and timing targets. Support prototype builds, issue resolution, and production launch. Must-Haves: ~ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field. ~3+ years of automotive exterior lighting experience. ~ Experience with design release processes, CAD (CATIA/NX), and GD&T. ~ Knowledge of LEDs, optics, automotive validation (DV/PV), DFMEA, and DVP&R. ~ Familiarity with FMVSS 108, ECE, or SAE lighting standards. ~ Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
