Job Summary

Amazon is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our dynamic warehouse team as Warehouse Team Members / Warehouse General Labourers for day shifts. This role is essential to ensuring that our operations run smoothly and that our customers receive their orders promptly and accurately. As a Warehouse Team Member, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the efficient handling, sorting, and shipping of products within our state-of-the-art warehouse facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare items for shipment according to Amazons high standards for quality and accuracy.
• Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control, including receiving, sorting, and storing goods in the appropriate locations.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and defects to ensure that only high-quality items are sent to customers.
• Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors safely and efficiently.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members to meet and exceed performance goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy items, stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality in handling and processing goods.
• Communication Skills: Effective verbal communication skills for clear instructions and coordination with team members.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to identify issues and provide solutions promptly.

Experience

• Previous Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.

Working Hours

• Shift: Full-time day shifts, typically 8 to 10 hours per day, with opportunities for overtime as needed.
• Schedule: Flexibility to work weekends and holidays based on operational needs.
