This position welcomes junior and intermediate candidates with varied experience levels. You will assess group business, price health and insurance benefits, and develop underwriting expertise through coaching or manage assigned business independently. Work includes renewals, quotations, enrollment reviews, financial reports, and documented decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete health, dental, life, and disability renewals
- Prepare quotations with increasing levels of complexity
- Evaluate risks and establish premium rates
- Review enrollments against original quotations
- Document decisions and prepare benefit reports
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education or equivalent relevant experience
- Strong numerical aptitude and analytical ability
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Microsoft Office proficiency and digital learning ability
