Become a key player at Dynacast Peterborough as a Manufacturing Process Development Engineer. This role emphasizes the improvement of manufacturing processes and machine efficiency.
You will be tasked with enhancing production methods, conducting machine capability studies, and initiating continuous improvement programs. Your expertise will be critical in analyzing workflow and planning space requirements to boost manufacturing performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and document manufacturing processes and equipment modifications
- Perform time studies and assess production capabilities
- Support cross-functional teams in optimizing operations
- Conduct thorough root cause analyses of production discrepancies
- Recommend advancements in manufacturing equipment and technologies
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum three years of relevant manufacturing experience
- Preferred background in die casting or injection molding
- Strong mechanical skills and the ability to read technical drawings
- Competent in Microsoft Office and project management tools
