Join the Bank of Canada as a French-speaking Operations Agent, specializing in shipping and receiving banknotes. This 12-month contract in Montreal includes hands-on responsibilities with security and asset management. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong mathematics skills, and relevant experience in banking or retail. You will perform dual custody of banknotes, ship and receive parcels, and process banknotes on high-speed equipment. Attention to detail is crucial, as is the ability to adapt to varying workflows. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure dual custody and control of banknotes
- Prepare and process banknotes for shipping and receiving
- Reconcile banknotes on high-speed processing systems
- Examine parcels and resolve operational problems
- Maintain asset security and integrity
- Bilingual: French speaking
- High school diploma with mathematics skills
- Experience in banking, retail, or shipping
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to lift parcels weighing 5 to 24 kg
