Join the Food Services team as a Dietary Aide, focusing on patient meal preparation and assembly. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in food service and a commitment to quality standards. As a Dietary Aide, you will prepare and assemble meal trays for patients while ensuring proper sanitation and safety protocols. This role requires communication with supervisors to address any discrepancies, supporting continuous improvement in food services. You will also be responsible for dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness across the kitchen and dining areas. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble patient meal trays accurately
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and food service equipment
- Communicate with Supervisor regarding any meal discrepancies
- Support quality improvement initiatives in Food Services
- Maintain sanitation and safety standards throughout the kitchen
- Minimum one year of food service experience required
- Food Handlers Certification and WHMIS training needed
- Proven reliable attendance record
- Able to lift and move equipment up to 30lbs
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
