At DFI, we are looking for a Shop Labourer to assist the Burn Table Operator and the Welding team. With over 50 years in business, DFI offers a dynamic work environment featuring cutting-edge equipment and a focus on innovation. You will work with various tools while ensuring high safety and maintenance standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Grind and deburr helical components for quality assurance
- Operate the overhead crane and support welding tasks
- Safely offload and organize steel parts from the CNC Burn Table
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work environment
- Assist in bending steel parts for specific engineering tolerances
- Experience with grinding and deburring tools
- Knowledge of crane and forklift operations is a plus
- Proficient in using a tape measure accurately
- Ability to work efficiently in a team setting
- Physically able to handle heavy materials
