Take charge of frontend development at vidIQ as a Lead Frontend Engineer. This remote opportunity empowers you to create impactful software for over one million YouTube creators every day. vidIQ is seeking a skilled engineer with at least five years in software development. You will be pivotal in leading a team that builds and refines user-facing features using technologies like React, TypeScript, and AI tools. This role has a strong focus on ownership—from the frontend to backend operations—enabling you to shape user experiences and drive product improvements across the board. Key Responsibilities:
- Own complete product surfaces from UI to performance
- Build and modify backend APIs and data flows
- Develop a roadmap driven by user feedback
- Lead refactoring from JavaScript to TypeScript
- Integrate AI features across the stack
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Expertise in React, TypeScript, and Next.js
- Familiar with backend design and debugging
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experienced in AI tooling and workflows
