Patient check-in, pre-testing, and optical service define this full-time Patient Services Specialist opportunity at FYidoctors Cold Lake - 55 Street.
As a Patient Services Specialist, you will support patients throughout clinic visits and communications. Your work includes appointments, billing, eyewear services, and prescription printouts. The clinic operates Monday to Saturday, with 30-40 hours scheduled weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and manage check-in and check-out
- Engage with patients in person, by phone, and email
- Perform pre-testing supporting comprehensive eye care
- Coordinate appointments, billing, payments, and prescription printouts
- Manage eyewear pick-ups, repairs, and adjustments
Requirements:
- Previous retail experience considered an asset
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities
- Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive approach
