The leadership team is hands‑on, decisive, and committed to building strong internal finance functions that support operational excellence. Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead and elevate the AP function. This is for someone who wants to build structure, strengthen controls, support project teams, and create efficiencies in a high-volume construction environment. You will oversee subcontractor and supplier payables, support month‑end, improve processes, and partner directly with operations to ensure job cost accuracy and strong vendor relationships. Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts Payable team Oversee full-cycle AP for subcontractors and suppliers Ensure accurate job cost and general ledger coding Support month-end close including accruals and reconciliations Strengthen internal controls and documentation standards Drive practical process improvements and efficiencies Assist with cash flow planning and vendor payment scheduling Partner closely with Project Managers to support cost tracking 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience, ideally within construction or project-based environments ~Experience managing subcontractor payments and holdbacks ~ Advanced Excel skills ~ Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working on-site ~ Bonus structure Long-term growth potential isgSearch does not use artificial intelligence throughout the hiring process. #
