Enhance the health and safety of campers at Earthbound Country House this season as a Camp Health Worker. Your expertise will be key in providing medical support and emotional care. Earthbound Country House is searching for a Camp Health Worker to address the health care needs of campers and staff. This role entails responsibilities like dispensing medications, administering first aid, and conducting COVID testing. This position is crucial for maintaining a safe camp atmosphere while supporting everyone’s wellness. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure medications are dispensed correctly
- Offer first-aid during health emergencies
- Monitor the overall health and wellness of camp participants
- Carry out COVID screening and testing procedures
- Foster emotional well-being among campers and staff
- Must hold Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse credentials
- Current Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid certification
- St. John’s Ambulance Standard First Aid Certificate required
- Student nurse from an accredited educational institution
- Experience in nursing or camp settings preferred
