Drive a sleeper tractor trailer with Armour Transportation Systems from Moncton, Dartmouth, or Sydney across the Maritimes and Newfoundland.
Armour seeks Domestic/NL Owner Operators for five-day island trips, ferry crossings, and domestic loads when sailings close. Contractors need a 2021 or newer sleeper tractor trailer, qualifying truck colour, and clean driving abstract. The work includes Newfoundland mileage and hourly pay incentives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up loads across the Maritimes
- Cross the Newfoundland ferry with loads
- Deliver loads across Newfoundland for five days
- Return home for scheduled reset periods
- Handle domestic or shunting loads during closures
Requirements:
- Own a 2021 or newer sleeper tractor trailer
- Operate a white or red truck
- Complete the Paint/Wrap Program if required
- Hold two years of Class 1 driving experience
- Pass road and drug tests with clean abstract
Use your Class 1 experience, sleeper tractor trailer, and regional driving skills as an Armour owner operator.
