Lead human resources at an established automotive dealership group in the Durham Region. This hands-on HR Manager role combines employee support and business strategy across multiple locations. Our client seeks an HR Manager with a passion for employee relations and operational excellence. This in-office position requires a strong generalist background with a minimum of five years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles. The ideal candidate will expertly navigate the complexities of recruitment, performance management, and employee engagement while promoting a positive workplace culture. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily HR operations across dealership locations
- Manage recruitment processes from job postings to onboarding
- Advise on employee performance and conflict resolution
- Support workforce planning and employee retention initiatives
- Maintain HR policies and documentation compliant with legislation
- 5+ years of HR experience, 2+ in a supervisory role
- Knowledge of HR practices in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly
- Post-secondary degree in Human Resources preferred
