Key Responsibilities
Provide care according to nursing standards and physicians' orders Observe, report, and record vital signs and conditions Assist with patient and resident assessments Develop, implement, review, and evaluate care plans Process physicians' orders and assess referral needs
Requirements:
Current certificate of competence from the approved provincial institution Registration or eligibility for registration with the approved institution Experience dealing with cognitively impaired individuals Knowledge of nursing, health care, and infection control practices Commitment to working with seniors and strong organizational skills Apply nursing standards, assessment skills, care planning, and infection control knowledge as an RPN/LPN at Extendicare St. Paul.
