BW Gold’s Process Control Specialist reports to the Supervisor – Electrical & Instrumentation. This permanent site position provides frontline support to maintenance, production, and engineering teams. Work includes Rockwell ControlLogix programming, Aveva Plant SCADA improvements, drive programming, PID loop tuning, and process control troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure reliable operation and maintenance of process control systemsProvide technical guidance and coaching to site personnelPerform troubleshooting, programming, and drive installationSupport PID loop tuning and process control understandingConduct performance evaluations and improve system performanceRequirements:
Three to five years’ industrial electrical and controls experienceMineral processing experience preferredThorough understanding of PLC process control systemsNetwork experience with TCPIP, Ethernet IP, and hardwareProactive, independent, organized, and safety-driven approachBring automation, SCADA, troubleshooting, and technical support capabilities to Blackwater Mine’s process control operations.
