Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position requires expertise in mechanical equipment operations. You will ensure high production quality by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and handling repairs. Your skills in diagnostics and problem-solving will contribute to maintaining a safe workplace, which is pivotal to IKO's continued success. Key Responsibilities:
- Complete preventive maintenance on various machinery
- Diagnose mechanical issues using precision instruments
- Dismantle and replace defective parts as needed
- Adjust devices using hand tools and levels
- Prepare mechanical maintenance reports accurately
- Valid Ontario Industrial Mechanic License 433A
- Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with pneumatic controls and welding
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Capability to work shifts and weekends
