Join CPKC as a Senior Railroad Bridge Engineer, focusing on safety and operational excellence while based in Calgary or Toronto. This role includes extensive travel for bridge inspections and infrastructure management. As the Senior Engineer, you'll lead the assessment of bridge conditions and develop strategic priorities for maintenance and investment. Your role involves overseeing inspection teams and ensuring all safety protocols are strictly followed. Engage in creating long-term plans for bridge asset management while collaborating closely with engineering staff. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee comprehensive bridge and culvert inspections
- Ensure timely completion of critical inspections
- Develop and maintain bridge asset management plans
- Train and manage teams of bridge inspectors
- Implement and audit compliance with safety standards
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering; P.Eng. is essential
- Minimum 5 years' experience in rail bridge management
- Strong communication skills for team collaboration
- Valid driver's license; Canadian passport a plus
- Availability for emergency response and physical challenges
