Lead pharmacy operations while delivering prescription counselling, medication dispensing, and professional services in a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store. Keep customers at the centre of care.
As Pharmacist, you will manage the Pharmacy while on duty and practice to your full professional scope. You will support customers and health care providers through consultation, accurate prescriptions, privacy-focused care, and dispensary maintenance. The position also includes workflow, inventory, documentation, and colleague coaching responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Pharmacy operations while on duty
- Provide prescription and product counselling
- Dispense accurate and appropriate prescriptions
- Communicate with health care professionals
- Maintain privacy records and dispensary workflow
Requirements:
- Independent thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and delegate assignments
- Strong customer relations and professionalism
- Strong problem-solving and action-planning skills
- Pharmacy systems knowledge is a definite asset
