Drive transportation projects in Calgary as a Project Manager with expertise in managing multi-million dollar budgets. Focus on safety and strategic execution. In this challenging role, you will be at the forefront of managing transportation projects over $10 million. You’ll develop critical safety and quality plans while ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards. Strong onsite management skills and effective coordination with project staff will be essential for success. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of safety and environmental management plans
- Develop and assess Health and Safety Plans for projects
- Manage project staff and onsite resources
- Interpret contract drawings and project specifications
- Keep track of project costs and maintain contracts
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years as a Project Manager in civil construction
- Knowledge of local Calgary project specifications
- Strong skills in reading construction documents
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
