Step into the role of Sample Preparation Technician at ALS, where you will prepare client samples for analysis with precision and care. This position focuses heavily on operational practices and adherence to health standards. Within the Sample Preparation Department, you’ll engage in various tasks such as sample sieving, crushing, and maintaining essential logs for quality control. Your ability to work effectively either alone or within a team will be critical. Strict observance of safety regulations ensures a secure working environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Ring and sieve samples under monitoring
- Assist in loading and unloading of drying ovens
- Keep accurate records of production logs
- Ensure basic lab cleanliness and safety
- Aid in completing various layout tasks
- Strong organizational skills for effective lab management
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Good alpha/numeric comprehension
- Basic English communication skills for documentation
- Compliance with all safety and health policies
