Janicki Industries, a leader in aerospace innovation, is seeking a capable AFP Technician to set up, operate, and manage advanced AFP equipment. Your role will be critical in ensuring the quality of composite parts through skilled machine manipulation and quality control methods. Experience with automated systems will be advantageous. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage Electroimpact AFP machines for production
- Load, monitor, and adjust materials to ensure quality
- Conduct dry runs and calibrate systems for accuracy
- Oversee compliance during fiber placement operations
- Maintain accurate records of operations and defects
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Legal Resident able to obtain clearance
- Minimum high school diploma or GED required
- Preferred: experience with AFP or similar systems in industry
- Mechanical aptitude and technical coursework beneficial
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
