Ambrose Arts seeks a theatre director for its 2022-23 season. You will teach TH 223 Rehearsal and Performance: Contemporary Play, a production-based undergraduate course. The appointment includes course development, instruction, grading, and possible production collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a syllabus meeting approved descriptions and learning outcomes
- Prepare and teach the undergraduate-level course
- Grade student work for the assigned course
- Collaborate toward department production season outcomes, if applicable
Requirements:
- Professional directing resume for this production-based course
- Master's degree in a relevant field at minimum
- PhD, MFA, or another terminal degree preferred
- Commitment to high-quality, student-centered teaching
- Teaching interests complementing Ambrose Arts
