You'll work under the guidance of senior developers and team leads, gaining hands-on experience with technologies such as Java and relational databases. This role suits someone eager to learn, contribute to meaningful projects, and grow their career in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Responsibilities include assisting in implementing product designs using a variety of programming languages and tools; contribute to software maintenance activities such as bug fixes and small enhancements; continuously develop technical skills by learning new technologies and programming practices; and follow team guidelines while contributing to a culture of collaboration, quality, and accountability.
Essential: Diploma or Java Programming Certificate.
Desirable: BSc in Computer Science or a related field.2+ years of relevant exposure, including: programming exposure through internships, coursework, or personal projects; familiarity with the software development lifecycle; experience working on real-time, web-based interfaces or portals (advantageous); and exposure to agile methodologies (advantageous).
Skills and Knowledge:Proficiency in Java (JEE/SE) with a solid grasp of Java 8+ features; experience with Spring Boot for building REST/SOAP services; basic experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MariaDB); understanding of SOAP and RESTful web services; familiarity with Git for version control and build tools such as Maven; experience using tools like SoapUI or Postman for API testing; Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Copilot, Claude Code)
- including the ability to critically evaluate, test, debug, and integrate AI-generated code into existing systems, rather than accepting AI output at face value.
