Operate plastics extrusion equipment in Beamsville, Ontario, while supporting packaging, material handling, and quality checks on rotating shifts. This full-time, on-site role prioritizes safety.
Dörken Systems Inc. seeks a dependable Assistant Operator for its plastics extrusion production lines. You will assist with equipment operation, finished-product packaging, product inspections, and workplace organization. The role supports start-ups, shutdowns, and product changeovers, including width and colour changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support safe operation of plastics extrusion production lines
- Operate the product winder and remove finished rolls
- Package products and operate the pallet stretch-wrap machine
- Transport finished products using authorized material-handling equipment
- Clean spills and maintain an orderly production area
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years manufacturing experience preferred
- Automated production equipment experience is an asset
- Ability to read English and follow written instructions
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg repeatedly
