Lead API testing and automation at Capgemini as a hands-on Quality Engineering leader building scalable frameworks from scratch. Shape enterprise quality through modern practices.
As Quality Engineering Lead, you will guide initiatives across programs and agile teams. Your work spans REST, SOAP, microservices, event-driven architectures, and AI-enabled quality engineering. You will define strategy, mentor teams, and strengthen delivery through intelligent automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead quality engineering across programs and agile teams
- Build scalable API automation frameworks from scratch
- Create reusable components, utilities, libraries, and reports
- Integrate automated suites into continuous integration pipelines
- Track coverage, defects, release readiness, and quality KPIs
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience testing REST and SOAP APIs
- Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures
- Expertise in Postman, Newman, Rest Assured, or Karate
- Knowledge of Ready API, SoapUI, Swagger, or OpenAPI
- Understanding of API lifecycle management and contract validation
