Elevate your career as a Data Engineer with BMO Financial Group. This role focuses on developing advanced data and AI products for data-driven insights and solutions. As a key player in the Data and AI Technology (DAT) Engineering team, you will partner with various business stakeholders to translate functional and non-functional requirements into innovative data products. Over the next few years, engage in planning, design, and implementation while strengthening your technical competency in ETL/ELT development and cloud services. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data and AI products with stakeholders
- Develop and test frameworks, automations, and reusable code
- Conduct regression testing and identify process improvements
- Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing
- Collaborate in Agile delivery using JIRA
- 2 years of experience in data engineering or ETL/ELT
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Spark, and Scala
- Experience with AWS, Azure, and data warehousing
- Knowledge of AI concepts and data analysis tools
- Familiarity with structured and unstructured datasets
