Scott Land & Lease seeks a detail-oriented Surface Land Agent for ongoing projects in British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. Bring your expertise in land acquisition and negotiations to our experienced team. This role requires a motivated professional with substantial experience in surface land acquisition and right-of-way negotiations. You will collaborate closely with landowners, project teams, and stakeholders, securing essential surface rights for multi-year project development. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong organizational and problem-solving skills, managing multiple acquisition files independently while maintaining effective communication. Key Responsibilities:
- Support surface land acquisition across Western Canada
- Manage and coordinate land acquisition activities for projects
- Conduct outreach and establish relationships with landowners
- Negotiate required surface rights and agreements
- Review and interpret land documentation for accuracy
- Experience as a Surface Land Agent or similar
- Strong understanding of land acquisition processes
- Excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to interpret technical project documentation
- Relevant post-secondary education in land administration
