Investigate automobile and property claims with Zurich Canada while using negotiation, communication, and claims technology in a hybrid Montreal or Kitchener role.
Zurich Canada is building a year-round talent pool for Personal Lines Claims Specialists in Montreal and Kitchener-Waterloo. The hybrid model requires three days weekly in the office or market-facing engagements. You will assess first-party claims, determine coverage and liability, and deliver service throughout each file's lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate claims and evaluate coverage, liability, and damages
- Communicate with customers, brokers, and partners throughout claim lifecycles
- Negotiate fair, effective claim resolutions and make decisions
- Use Mitchell Work Center and Guidewire to assess damages
- Maintain documentation and support fraud, recovery, and subrogation processes
Requirements:
- Two or more years handling automobile or property claims
- Understand policy wordings, provincial regulations, and repair processes
- Use Microsoft Office and claims platforms comfortably
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organize multiple files with accuracy and attention to detail
