Human Resources Advisor expertise supports leaders through employee relations and performance management in a hybrid environment, with client-site attendance required.
Alberta Health Services seeks an HR Advisor for its Health Shared Services HRBP team. You will advise leaders, employees, physicians, and volunteers across unionized and non-union workforces. The work includes consultation, coaching, coordination, recommendations, and strategic direction on varied human resource functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide proactive consultation and recommendations to organizational leaders
- Advise on employee and labor relations matters
- Support investigations, performance management, grievances, and conflict resolution
- Interpret collective agreements and related human resource policies
- Engage specialists and Centres of Expertise when required
Requirements:
- HR Advisor or Generalist experience
- Strong understanding of employee and labor relations
- Knowledge of performance and ability management
- Experience supporting unionized and non-union employees
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently
