Deliver client-centred occupational therapy across multiple Osler sites while applying assessment, intervention, and discharge planning expertise. This permanent part-time position follows days and nights schedules.
William Osler Health System seeks an Occupational Therapist for its Professional Practitioners program. The position serves patients through physical, perceptual, cognitive, and functional assessments. You will implement interventions, provide education, and contribute to interdisciplinary care within Occupational Therapy Corporate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quality occupational therapy through a client-centred framework
- Assess physical, perceptual, cognitive, and functional patient status
- Plan interventions that enhance patients’ overall functioning
- Recommend required support levels for patient discharge
- Participate in rounds, meetings, committees, and quality initiatives
Requirements:
- BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
- Registration in good standing with COTO
- Recent adult physical medicine experience
- Fluent English reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension
- Strong assessment, intervention, communication, and critical-thinking skills
