The Board of Education of School District No. 33 is seeking enthusiastic Educational Assistants ready to step in when needed. You will work closely with both teachers and students in various classroom settings. This role is perfect for individuals who possess a strong understanding of student needs and the ability to collaborate with others for student success. Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in one-on-one and small group settings
- Assist with student supervision and classroom management
- Aid with personal independence and self-care developments
- Administer First Aid and medications as required
- Adapt educational materials to meet student needs
- High school diploma and special education assistant certification
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Safety Oriented First Aid certificate
- Knowledge of psychosocial issues and health procedures
- Patience and effective communication skills
